"Yuvaan Rajvanshi, the man, the only heir of the mighty Rajvanshi's is found dead in the city outskirts. According to the police reports, the car breaks failed and the man broke into a tree to cease the car." The anchor continued.
Shanaya turned around as the loud gasp of her father startled her. The glass in his hand, slipped to the floor as his stare was glued to the television.
"Mummy," Shanaya screamed.
"Haan, tell me." Suman yelled in return from the kitchen. It was past lunch time but the food isn't ready yet. Courtesy to her lovely daughter who decided that she should take a half day leave from the University.
When the elder lady didn't receive any reply from her daughter or husband, she found herself standing at the threshold.
“Rajesh,” Suman shrieked.
His hand was bleeding as the glass pieces left a few deep cuts before slipping away. “Bring the first aid kit.”
Shanaya ran to her parents' room and bought the kit. Suman snatched it from her quickly. “Come with me.” Suman dragged her husband, and washed away the blood. Muttering a few profanities towards her irrational husband, Suman cleansed his wound and applied the antiseptic.
“Where were you lost that you didn't realise the hold on glass?”
Rajesh didn't answer her question but kept on staring at the television.
Yuvaan Rajvanshi, the only heir of Rajvanshi, was found dead.
His vision blurred and the world around him slowed down. He couldn't hear his wife's screams, nor could he see his daughter's teary face.
“Shanaya, call Vardaan.” Suman ordered her daughter.

After five years…
“Ms. Verma,” The chief called her.
“Yes, Sir.”
“This is the case of Yuvaan Rajvanshi, the man who was found dead because of an accident.” The chief paused, contemplating the amount of information he should disclose. “Now, someone wants the case to be reopened. And I want you to handle this case.” He concluded.
“So, Ms. Rudrakshi Verma, I'm giving you the full powers to investigate this case and let the dead receive justice.”
“On it, Sir.”
She picked up the file, “Yuvaan Rajvanshi, the only heir of Rajvanshi, found dead, accident.”
“Mala, who's in charge of the Rajvanshi properties after the death of Yuvaan?”
Mala searched the whole internet after being assigned to the case. Rudrakshi was assigned with a team of four members. Three male and a female who is Mala.
“Ma'am, After the death of Yuvaan, the board of directors decided that one of them should lead the Rajvanshi Empire. The senior Rajvanshi, Mr. Pratap didn't like it.” Mala paused.
She gasped in horror analysing the further information. “Within a week, he introduced Vardaan, Vardaan Rajvanshi as the CEO of Rajvanshi Empire.”
“What the actual fuck!” The rest of the team members marvelled. How on earth did the elder man come with another Rajvanshi when he had only one son with his wife, Sunaina.
“Ummm, according to the internet, and the words of Pratap Rajvanshi, Vardaan’s existence was kept secret due to certain personal reasons.” Mala added. Rudrakshi didn't say anything throughout the time.
“So, Mala, if there's anyone who would be benefited with the death of Yuvaan, that's-”
“Vardaan.” Everyone blurted out in surprise.
“Right. So, one first suspect is Vardaan Rajvanshi. But we should be meticulous.” Her hawk brown eyes stared at the four of them. “Vardaan is only our major suspect, the killer can be anyone else.”
“Ma'am, did the chief tell you who filed to reopen this accident case?” Rudrakshi shook her head at Nithin, the hacker and tracker of their team. “No Nithin. The person wants his profile to be kept hidden.”
“I will ask the chief once again but for that to take place,” the quartet looked at her in anticipation, “we all should gather some proof or evidence that it's a murder and not just an accident.”
“On it, boss.” They chorused in union.
“Vardaan Rajvanshi, I will catch you red handed.” Rudrakshi whispered to herself and closed the file.
🌊
“Amy, fasten up. Vardaan sir will be here soon.” The manager ushered the staff.
Vardaan Rajvanshi, the man, the myth, is punctual and particular. The whole staff is afraid of him, including the board members. From day one itself, the man proved his worth as the Rajvanshi. Leading India's number one empire, the man evoked fear in everyone's mind and body.
“Sir, the meeting is on.” Amy declared and everyone in the room sighed in relief. The man loathed tardiness and his remorse was evident in that.
The client, Mr. Zayden Ali, is waiting for the sensational Rajvanshi to join it. As the clock ticked off nine, the employees rooted towards their system and the automated double doors opened ushering the overnight billionaire, Vardaan Rajvanshi.
“Sir, Mr. Ali is waiting for you.” Riya, his ps, informed him.
“Ask Vimal to go on with it and don't disturb me till noon.” Riya nodded and the staff left him alone.
Walking into his cabin, he leaned on his chair and grabbed the file. It's been five years since he took charge as the CEO of Rajvanshi Empire. A single night changed his life, now he's all set to change that night.
“Yuvaan Rajvanshi, I will reach you.” He mumbled under his breath and dialled a number.
“Vyom, I need a favour.”
